March 2007 - Southern California based BC Ethic Clothing
recently teamed with the Hollywood's landmark nightclub, the Viper
Room, as the notorious establishment transported its world famous
Sunset Strip music experience to Austin, TX during the extremely popular
SXSW music conference in March. Flaunt magazine, Hard Rock Hotel &
Casino, Monster Energy, Y-Fly, Musicplustv.com, Gibson and more were
also part of the event.
BC Ethic Clothing and the Viper Room collaborate on the Viper Collection from
BC Ethic, available at select mall retailers and other fine boutique
stores nationwide. The SXSW conference, affectionately known as
"spring break for the music business," has been a musical
happening for nearly 2 decades, and a regular destination on new
BC Ethic marketing head Jim Baltutis' calendar since its inception.
Baltutis recently joined BC Ethic Clothing after a long tenure at
Warner Bros. Records, where he oversaw the media happenings such
bands as Linkin Park, Metallica, Disturbed, HIM, Avenged Sevenfold
and MUSE. He came back from the conference energized from the experience.
While in Austin, Baltutis paid visit some of BC Ethic's larger
store accounts, and passed out laminated party passes for the Viper
Room event to the staffers there-all of whom were excited to see
the music prowess on display each night. Whether it's the Ringers,
The Ruse, Night Kills Day, The Spill Canvas, the Norwegian based
Big Bang or the most amazing girl band, Rocket - All were completely
taken with the BC Ethic Fall collection clothing they saw on display
at the event, and all will be sporting it as the new styles are
cut.
Based on that assessment, and meeting the hottest up and coming
talent that performed at the Viper Room Austin and beyond, Baltutis
says "I can say with reams of confidence that the new BC Ethic
Fall 07 line officially rocks."
